This opportunity is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve an early childhood caseload within an elementary school setting in Kansas City, MO. The position offers a full caseload of 50-60 students primarily requiring therapy services without evaluation responsibilities. The role is contract-based, starting as soon as possible and running through May 29, 2026, with approximately 35 hours per week onsite.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech therapy services to an early childhood caseload in an elementary school
- Manage a full caseload of 50-60 students focused on therapy, with no evaluation duties
- Collaborate with educational and clinical teams to support student progress
- Adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs
- Maintain appropriate documentation and comply with school policies and regulations
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist certification (SLP - CCC preferred)
- Experience working in school settings, especially with early childhood populations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a large caseload efficiently and effectively
- Familiarity with pediatric speech and language development and therapy techniques
